According to the information, 66-year-old Bhushan Kumar Mittal, son of Devraj Mittal, resident of village Shehna, was standing in the queue outside the local gas agency to get a gas cylinder at around 8 am today. It is being told that there was a long line to get the cylinder and Bhushan Kumar’s number was 25th. He was waiting for his turn for the last two hours.

According to eyewitnesses, while waiting, they were waiting for their turn to get the cylinder. Meanwhile, his health suddenly deteriorated and he suffered a heart attack. The people present there tried to take care of him, but within a few moments he died on the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was panic among the people nearby and a wave of mourning ran in the area. Later the family members reached the spot and took the body to their home. Preparations are being made by the family to get the postmortem done.
Congress leader Sukhwinder Singh demands compensation from Central and Punjab government

Bhadaur constituency’s Congress leader Sukhwinder Singh Dhaliwal has directly held the central government responsible for this incident. He said that the deceased Bhushan Kumar was supporting his family by working as a laborer and he had to stand in the queue for hours to get a gas cylinder. Expressing condolences to the family of the deceased, Dhaliwal demanded from the Central and Punjab governments that appropriate compensation should be given to the family of Bhushan Kumar Mittal, so that his family can get some relief in this difficult time.
