Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the case of two employees being shot dead in the biogas plant of HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) located in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister has instructed the SIT to investigate the matter. The Chief Minister has said that a police post has been established with the aim of strengthening the security at the CBG plant.
Regarding the Badaun incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his X handle (former Twitter), “Prompt action has been taken on the unfortunate incident at the CBG plant in Badaun district.” He said, “A SIT has also been formed under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Bareilly for a fair and transparent investigation.”
‘Police post established at CBG plant’
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath further said, “In this regard, it is to be informed that the culprit has already been arrested, but even after this, if any possibility of conspiracy is seen, then strict action will be taken under the policy of zero tolerance towards crimes and criminals of the state government.” He said, “A police post has been set up to strengthen the security of the CBG plant. My condolences are with the bereaved family.”

Let us tell you that recently two HPCL officials were shot dead in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. However, the police have arrested the accused in this case. However, it was also told that the accused who opened fire earlier worked in this plant, but a few days ago he was fired from his job. Angered by this, he committed this horrific incident.
SSP Brijesh Singh removed after the incident
After the Badaun massacre, there has been a major administrative reshuffle in the district, after the double murder, SSP Brijesh Singh has been removed. In her place, Ankita Singh has now been given the responsibility of SSP Badaun.
