This means that for a normal house of 1000 square feet the range will be around Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. Labor costs usually account for 25% to 35% of the budget. In this, the average labor charges are around ₹ 300 to ₹ 500 per square foot. The remaining expenses like architectural design, government approvals and other expenses usually amount to 5% to 10%.
