Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who recently shared pictures on social media from her visit to Badrinath and Kedarnath temples in Uttarakhand on the occasion of Mahashivratri, has now been asked to submit an affidavit of faith before entering the religious places.

The chairman of the temple committee revealed on March 17 that all non-Hindus wishing to visit temples will have to submit an affidavit of their faith in Hinduism.

According to an IANS report, Badri-Kedar Committee Chairman Hemant Dwivedi told the media that today, March 17, all non-Hindus wishing to seek blessings at Badrinath and Kedarnath temples will have to submit an affidavit. Every non-Hindu person will have to produce proof of belief in Hindu religion. This new rule will also apply to all VIP personalities.

Dwivedi further said that, if Sara Ali Khan expresses her faith in Sanatan Dharma and submits an affidavit, then she will be allowed to enter the temple and offer prayers. Let us tell you that Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan is a Muslim, while her mother Amrita Singh is a Sikh. However, in her old interviews, Sara has called herself a proud Indian.
