Gold Silver Price Today: A fall in the prices of gold and silver is being seen in the domestic futures market on Wednesday, March 18. Till the time of writing the news, the gold future future with expiry of April 2, 2026 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was trading with a fall of about Rs 500.
Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,55,658 (per 10 grams). On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,55,985.
At around 9:50 am, gold futures were trading at Rs 1,55,488, down 0.32 per cent. Gold futures had reached a high of Rs 1,55,788 in early trade. Let us know what is the latest price of gold and silver in your city today….

On MCX, silver with expiry of May 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,50,750 (per kg), down by 0.93 per cent or about Rs 2300. Silver started the trading day at Rs 2,51,498. The high level of silver during the day’s trading was Rs 2,51,639.
Today, 10 grams of silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 2,650 in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. At the same time, to buy 100 grams of silver, customers will have to spend Rs 26,500. The price of 10 grams of silver in Chennai is Rs 2,801.
