The mood of the weather changed in Delhi-NCR on Wednesday (18 March) evening. After sunny afternoon, there was a dust storm in Delhi-NCR in the evening. Heavy rain occurred in some areas of Delhi. Due to rain, traffic was also affected at some places in Delhi. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that during the next 2 hours, there is a high possibility of strong winds at a speed of 30-50 km/hour along with light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning in many areas of Haryana, UP and Rajasthan including Delhi-NCR.

Yellow alert issued for Thursday and Friday

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain and strong winds in the capital from Wednesday (March 18) to Friday (March 20). There is a possibility of drop in temperature during this period. IMD has issued yellow alert for Thursday and Friday. The speed of winds can reach 40 to 50 kilometers per hour and there may be light rain at times. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious in view of the changing weather.
