
Jhandewali Mata Temple – This temple is located near Karol Bagh area of Delhi. The history of Jhandewala temple dates back to around the 18th century. There is a cave here, where the original idol of the Mother Goddess can be seen. Mother appeared in a dream to a businessman of Mayhan and asked him to dig at this place. An ancient idol of the goddess was found during the excavation. After this a temple was established here. Devotees used to offer Jhanda (flag) when their wishes were fulfilled.

Kalkaji Temple – This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. This temple was built in 1764 AD. According to the legend, when the goddess killed the demons, the gods requested her to reside here and since then this place became Siddhapeetha. This temple is also known as Jayanti Peeth and Manokamna Siddha Peeth.
