The political temperature in Bihar has risen due to a statement by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. Kangana has said about Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi that women feel uncomfortable with him. Now Bihar Congress has retaliated on this. On Thursday (March 19, 2026), Bihar Congress spokesperson Dr. Snehasish Vardhan issued a statement targeting Kangana Ranaut.
Congress leader gave advice to Kangana
Dr. Snehasish Vardhan said that Kangana Ranaut has made indecent remarks on Rahul Gandhi to remain highlighted in the media and this is unforgivable. Giving advice, the Congress leader said that being a woman MP, she (Kangana Ranaut) should avoid such statements, because if a man goes into her personal life, a lot of things will come out, so at least avoid such petty comments.

Attacking further, the Congress spokesperson of Bihar said that if someone is questioning Rahul Gandhi on the respect of women, then at least highlight the ideology with which she (Kangana) stands. He should tell why women are not respected there?
What did MP Pappu Yadav say on Kangana?
On the other hand, MP Pappu Yadav has also said a lot about Kangana Ranaut while talking to journalists. Pappu Yadav said that there is no place for personal criticism. He said sarcastically, “Elephants go to the market, dogs bark thousands of times… ignore Kangana… Kangana-tasting is all chutney… ignore these people.” MP Pappu Yadav gave the above statement at Patna Airport on Thursday (March 19, 2026).
