Service timing for different companies
Servicing time is slightly different for bikes of every company. For Hero bikes like Splendor or Passion, the first service is at 500-750 KM, the second at 2500 KM and the third at 5000 KM. After this, it is considered appropriate to get servicing done every 3000-4000 KM. For Honda bikes like Shine or Unicorn, first service should be done at 700-1000 KM and thereafter every 3000 KM or 4-6 months. For bikes like Bajaj’s Pulsar or Platina, servicing is appropriate at 2000-2500 KM.
For bikes like Royal Enfield, first service is required at 500-750 KM and thereafter every 3000 KM or 3 months. Whereas in sports bikes like KTM or Yamaha R15, it is better to get service done every 4000-5000 KM.
