South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has announced recruitment for many apprenticeship posts. The special thing is that there is no fee for applying for this recruitment, so that more and more youth can participate in it.
Online applications for this recruitment process have started. Interested candidates can apply till 31 March 2026. To apply, candidates will have to visit the apprenticeship portal nats.education.gov.in.
Who can apply
Only those candidates who have completed their studies can apply for this recruitment. Youth with many types of qualifications can participate in this. If you have done a 4-year engineering degree, or have done a 3-year diploma after 10th, or have done a 2-year diploma after 12th, then you will be considered eligible for this recruitment. Along with this, the age of the candidate should be at least 18 years. Age will be calculated as on 31st March 2026.

How much stipend will you get?
Candidates will also be given stipend every month during apprenticeship. This amount has been fixed according to different posts. Candidates selected for Graduate Apprenticeship will get approximately Rs 12,300 per month. The candidates selected for Technician Apprenticeship will be given a stipend of around Rs 10,900 per month.
How will the selection be done?
Now the question comes that how will the selection be done. No written examination will be taken in this recruitment. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their educational qualification. First the merit list will be prepared. The candidates who make it to this list will be called for the next phase. After this there will be document verification and medical examination. The final selection will be made only after completing both these stages.
