Indian researcher Syed Shamim Hussain has claimed that during a mining operation in the Philippines, trident and vajra, symbols associated with the faith of Sanatan Dharma, were found. According to him, these artefacts may be thousands of years old and may be related to ancient Indian civilization.
The researcher claimed in a press conference in New Delhi that the trident found in the excavation could be about 10 thousand years old, while the Vajra is about 3000 years old. They believe that these objects match the symbolic weapons associated with Shiva and Indra.

Hussain found these artefacts in the year 2015
Hussain said that these artefacts were found in May 2015 when he was involved in copper and gold mining work in the Philippines. He had been working in the same country since 2012 and was collaborating with local residents at mining sites.
During mining, the people accompanying him reported finding some unusual objects. When they were inspected, they found two metal artifacts that were quite different from other objects found during mining.
One object found in the mining looked like a trident, while the shape of the other was similar to the vajra described in Hindu mythology. Husain later concluded that these objects corresponded to religious symbols from ancient Indian traditions.
Trishul is said to be 10,000 years old
After the discovery, he was brought to India in 2016 for investigation. He spent several years studying these artifacts and consulting experts, including archaeologists and religious scholars. He claimed that the trident could be around 10,000 thousand years old, while the vajra could be around 3000 thousand years old.
Giving information, Hussain said that he discussed these artefacts with experts and also contacted officials in India to get them registered. According to reports, these objects were later registered in the Archaeological Survey of India office.

Understand the cultural significance of symbols?
In Sanatan Dharma, the symbol of Trishul is associated with the weapon of Lord Shiva. The three branches of the trident symbolize various philosophical concepts including creation, preservation and destruction.
Vraj, on the other hand, is related to the weapon of Lord Indra, the Vedic deity associated with thunder, rain and storms. Vraj is described in ancient texts as a powerful weapon, a symbol of power and divine authority.
Because of their strong association with mythology, the discovery of such artefacts outside the Indian subcontinent has aroused interest among researchers of ancient cultural exchanges across Asia.
India had influence in many countries of Asia in ancient times. This impact was not due to war, but the real reason was trade, movement of people and spread of religion.
For this reason, traces of Indian culture are still visible in Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and their surrounding areas, such as Sanskrit language, temple remains and statues of Hindu-Buddhist deities.
Now if the objects found in the Philippines are proven to be really old and genuine, then it would mean that the relations between India and South-East Asia were deeper than before.
