America is sending three warships to the Middle East
Amid the ongoing conflict with Iran, America’s Pentagon is sending three warships and thousands of additional marines to the Middle East. However, US President Donald Trump says that he will not deploy troops on the ground in Iran.
The three warships being sent by America to the Middle East include USS Boxer and two amphibious assault ready warships. Apart from this, the Pentagon is also deploying about 2,200 to 2,500 Marine soldiers of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Mujtaba Khamenei’s message to Iran
On the occasion of Persian New Year and Eid-ul-Fitr, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has given a congratulatory message to the countrymen. Along with this, he also took on America and Israel and threatened them. Mujtaba Khamenei said that last year the people of Iran faced three major military and security related conflicts.
He alleged that the enemies tried to spread an atmosphere of fear in the country by attacking Iran, but they could not prevail in their intentions. We are fully prepared to fight global arrogance beyond missiles and drone attacks.
Trump scolded NATO countries
US President Donald Trump has expressed displeasure at NATO countries over the increase in crude oil prices amid the global oil crisis. Trump said that America is fighting alone in the war against Iran and NATO member countries are not supporting it. Now that the threat has subsided, they are complaining about oil prices, but are not ready to help in opening the Strait of Hormuz. These people are cowards and we will remember them.
IRGC top commander Naini killed
According to the report of Iran’s government news channel, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naini has been killed in a joint action taken by America and Israel. His death came just hours after he threatened to challenge claims of a US naval presence in the Gulf.
Sri Lanka did not give landing permission to America’s fighter jet
At the same time, amidst the war with Iran, the Asian country Sri Lanka refused to allow the American fighter jet to land on its land. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumar Dissanayake said in his country’s Parliament that in the beginning of March, the government had refused permission for two US fighter planes to land at the country’s Mattala International Airport.
