The last date of application for the sixth phase (Phase-6) of the Yuva Sangam program has been extended. While earlier the last date for application was March 18, 2026, now it has been extended to March 25, 2026.
This means that the youth who have not yet applied still have a chance. This program especially gives the youth an opportunity to see and understand the diversity of India closely. Under this, participants are able to go outside their state or union territory and know the culture, tradition, language and lifestyle of other states.
What is Yuva Sangam programme?
Yuva Sangam is a kind of exchange program, which has been started under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. Its objective is to connect the youth of the country with each other and strengthen the feeling of unity in diversity. The youth participating in this program do not just go for a tour, but they also understand the people, institutions and administrative system there. It is a learning experience in which they see different aspects of India closely. The special thing about this program is that it focuses on five important aspects. Which includes Tourism, Tradition, Development, Interaction and Technology.
Who can apply?
Some necessary eligibility criteria have been fixed to apply for Yuva Sangam Phase-6. These should be between 18 to 30 years of age, students of higher education institutions (college/university), National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, members of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) and young professionals from various fields.
