In Pakistan, after Eid prayers on Saturday (21 March), terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Bilal Arif Sarafi was killed by his family members with a knife and bullet. It is being told that this incident took place near the demolished headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba near a Markaz under Murid.
According to NDTV news, the exact reason behind the murder is not yet known, but intelligence sources suspect a family dispute. Sources said that the people involved in the murder have been arrested. Many such videos have surfaced on social media, in which terrorist Bilal is seen lying lifeless on the ground. However, their authenticity remains to be confirmed.
Bilal used to trick the youth by identifying them
According to reports, Bilal was the main person responsible for recruitment in Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Muridke Centre. He used to propagate Jihadi agenda by identifying the youth and tricking them. It is said that Bilal’s work was to brainwash people by giving them ideological training, although there was no search for Bilal in India.
Adverse effect of terrorist activities in Pakistan
Pakistan, which for decades promoted terrorist networks as a weapon of its foreign policy, is now trapped in its own trap. For the first time, Pakistan has ranked first in the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2026 and has become the most terror affected country in the world in 2025. There have been cases of 1,139 deaths, 1,045 attacks, 1,595 people injured and 655 hostages.
Most terrorist incidents took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan of Pakistan. In which 74 percent attacks and 67 percent deaths have been recorded. The most prominent terrorist group is Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, which carried out 595 attacks in 2025 and was responsible for 637 deaths. This is 56 percent of the total deaths due to terrorism in the country.
