Summer season brings only heat and sunshine for many people, but sometimes it can also prove fatal. When the body becomes too hot, it is called heat stroke. Heat stroke is a serious condition in which the body temperature suddenly increases and if not treated in time, it can even lead to the death of the person. In such a situation, let us know how someone dies due to heat stroke. What are the symptoms of heat stroke and how can it be prevented?
How does someone die from heat stroke?
When body temperature rises too quickly, the body fails to cool itself. In this condition the brain, heart and kidneys are affected first. Excessive heat damages brain cells. This causes conditions like confusion, seizures, coma or loss of mental control. The heart works harder to keep the body cool, due to which the heartbeat can become fast and weak. Due to excessive heat the organs gradually stop functioning. If the body temperature remains very high for a long time and is not treated on time, then these vital organs get completely damaged. Due to this, the body’s balance gradually deteriorates and death occurs.
