Terrorist Tahawwur Rana: The Mastmind of Mumbai attacks has started reminding her family after coming to India. He wants to talk to the people of his family and has pleaded in the NIA’s Special Court for this. Recently he was brought from America to India.
A Delhi judge issued a notice on Rana’s petition seeking an answer from the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Special NIA Court will hear the case on 23 April. On April 19, Rana filed a petition in front of Special Judge Hardeep Kaur through his lawyer. A few days ago, ABP News had run the news about this issue, now this news has been approved. Significantly, after bringing Rana back to India, 18 days NIA has been sent to custody in the court’s decision late at night.
Tehwavur Rana kept under tight security
Terrorist Rana has been kept under tight security inside the NIA headquarters and he is being monitored through CCTV. Rana is being given vegetarian food and he is also getting enough sleep. At the same time, the authorities have taken special care that they do not harm themselves.
Terrorist being questioned on these three aspects
The investigating agency is focusing on three aspects of inquiry:
Conspiracy for Mumbai terror attacks.
Pakistan’s ISI role in attacks.
Rana’s relationship with terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, who carried out the attacks.
NIA Rana was being questioned daily for about eight to ten hours daily to investigate the major conspiracy behind the 2008 attacks. The investigation also focused on relations with Rana’s co-conspirator David Coleman Headley alias Dawood Gilani. Headley is an American citizen and is in jail there.
