Use the spam filter of your phone- Nowadays, built-in spam filters are available in phones of many companies including Samsung. These help in filtering spam calls to some extent. By using these you can also avoid this problem.
Spam blocking apps- There are many third-party apps available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, which provide the facility of caller identification. With their help, spam calls are detected and you can also block that number.
Option to complain about spam caller
If you receive spam or marketing calls from an unregistered number, you can lodge a complaint on the Sanchar Sathi portal. For this, go to Sanchar Sathi portal and tap on Citizen Centric Services. After this click on ‘Report Suspected and Unsolicited Commercial Communication’. After this a new page will open, where you can lodge a complaint. Choose from different options and submit the form. Keep in mind that you must have a screenshot to lodge a complaint.
