Mumbai Crime Branch has made sensational revelations while solving the mystery of the firing case at the house of famous film director Rohit Shetty. Investigation has revealed that shooter Deepak was given a bribe of Rs 3 lakh to commit this crime. The name of Arzoo Bishnoi has also come to light in this entire conspiracy, who played an important role in providing logistics and weapons.
According to Crime Branch sources, shooter Deepak and his partner Golu are residents of the same area (Bah village) and have been friends for the last 4 years. Deepak’s family does farming and labor, whereas Deepak and Golu did not have any permanent job. Taking advantage of this, Golu lured him with a huge amount of money and pushed him into the world of crime.
The accused used to communicate with each other through Signal app
To mislead the police, the accused used to communicate among themselves through Signal app. To catch these technically clever accused, Mumbai Crime Branch worked on the ground.
Sources said that the police team remained on the field for 8 consecutive days. The data of about 1600 suspicious mobile numbers was scrutinized. With the help of mobile tower location and recently activated new numbers, the police reached the hideout of the accused.
After the arrest, there is a huge contradiction in the statements of Deepak and Golu. Deepak claims that the weapon was given to him by Golu, whereas Golu claims that Deepak himself brought the weapon with himself. The police is now finding out the truth through forensic investigation as to who was the real supplier of the weapon.
Investigation has also revealed that Golu was also involved in a firing incident that took place in Rajasthan in the year 2025. When the police traced Golu Pandit’s location in Agra through technical surveillance and raided there, the accused surrendered after seeing the increasing siege.
Sources say that Arzoo Bishnoi had taken the responsibility of back-end support and logistics for this entire incident. At present, the police is connecting the links of digital evidence and money transactions. Some more major arrests are possible in this high-profile case in the coming days.
