Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh participated in the all-party meeting called by the government on the situation in the Middle East. After this meeting on Wednesday (25 March), he said that the first concern was that the entire country is currently standing in the queue for gas cylinders. Sanjay Singh said that the government’s stand was that we are producing 60 percent of LPG domestically and there will be no shortage of gas. We have oil reserves. Sanjay Singh said, “They are saying that it is a time of crisis, we want cooperation from the opposition. Now cooperation does not mean that the public should be in trouble. If the public is in trouble, then we will speak out. Now in two-four days you will know the truth. What does the government’s claim that there is no crisis of any kind related to oil and gas, what does it look like on the ground?”
What did the government say on Pakistan’s mediation?
Regarding the all-party meeting, sources claimed that when Foreign Minister S Jaishankar was asked about Pakistan’s mediation, he said that this has been going on since 1981. According to sources, the Foreign Minister said that America has kept Pakistan engaged in talks with Iran for years.
