Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand VIDA has launched a special scooter for KKR fans. Its name is VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition. This scooter is made on Kolkata Knight Riders theme. It has a wonderful combination of purple, gold and pearl black colors. Three special marks are also given in it, which show KKR’s three IPL titles. This is a limited edition scooter, so it will be available only at select VIDA stores.

Design and price

If we talk about design, this scooter looks absolutely sporty and premium. However, there has been no change in its mechanical features and it remains the same as the standard VX2 Plus. It has LED headlights, DRLs and integrated indicators. Along with this, the company has also launched a KKR themed helmet, which comes in the same color. Its price has been kept at Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom).

Battery, range and performance

VIDA VX2 Plus has a removable battery, which you can easily remove and charge at home. According to the company, its range is up to 142 km, but in daily use it can run up to about 100 km. Its top speed is 80 kmph and it accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.1 seconds. Talking about charging, it gets charged up to 80% in 4 hours 13 minutes with AC charger, whereas with fast charger this work is done in just 62 minutes.

Features and Smart Technology

This scooter is far ahead in terms of features. It has a full digital TFT display, which shows information like speed, battery and navigation. Along with this, Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts and mobile app support are also available. For riding, it has been provided with modes like Eco, Ride and Sport, through which you can choose the performance as per your need. Apart from this, features like key-less start, USB charging and OTA update make it even smarter.

Safety

For safety, this scooter has been provided with Combi Braking System (CBS), front disc brake and rear drum brake. Along with this, LED lights and low battery alert are also available. It has more than 27 liters of underseat storage.
