Big news has come for thousands of youth preparing for competitive exams. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the dates of PCS-2025 main examination. As soon as the dates were announced, the excitement among the candidates has intensified. Now is the time for the last round of preparation, because the examination will start from 29th March and continue till 1st April 2026.
The commission has also issued admit cards for the examination. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of the Commission, uppsc.up.nic.in. This time the main examination will be conducted in two cities Prayagraj and Lucknow.
Preparation for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission completed
According to the Commission, the examination will be conducted in two sessions. A total of 27 examination centers have been created for this. 11,403 candidates from the entire state will appear in this main examination. The administration has also made complete preparations for conducting the examination on such a large scale, so that the examination can be conducted in a peaceful and fair manner.
If seen city wise, 12 centers have been made in Prayagraj, where 4,757 candidates will appear for the exam. Whereas in Lucknow, 6,646 candidates will appear at 15 centres. Co-centre administrators, external inspectors and associate inspectors have been deployed at all the centres.
Special attention to security and order
The administration has issued strict instructions regarding the examination. Security arrangements will be kept strong at every centre. A plan has also been made to ensure that there is no unnecessary crowd around the examination centres. Clear instructions have been given to the officials that there should not be any irregularities during the examination. There will be monitoring arrangements in every room and rules will be strictly followed.

Important advice for candidates
The Commission and the administration have advised the candidates to reach the center well in time on the day of examination. It will be mandatory to carry admit card and identity card with you. No one will be allowed to enter the examination center without necessary documents.
Examination will be held in two sessions
PCS main examination will be conducted in two sessions every day. There will be separate papers in the morning and afternoon sessions. Therefore, candidates need to be mentally and physically prepared. It is not easy to take exams for four consecutive days, hence it is important to take care of health.
