In the meeting, Air Defense Tracked System, Armour-piercing Tank Ammunition, High Capacity Radio Relay, Dhanush Gun System and Runway Independent Aerial Surveillance System have been approved for the Indian Army.

The Air Defense Tracked System will provide real-time air defense control and reporting capability to the Indian Army, while the high capacity radio relay will ensure reliable and uninterrupted communications. With this, the Dhanush gun system will increase the artillery capability of the army, so that the Indian Army will be able to hit its targets with complete accuracy at long ranges in all types of terrains.

Indian Coast Guard will get heavy duty air cushion vehicles

Apart from this, DAC has also approved the procurement of Heavy Duty Air Cushion Vehicles for the Indian Coast Guard. These vehicles will be used in multi-purpose maritime operations, which will include high-speed coastal patrolling, reconnaissance and rescue operations, support to ships and transportation of logistics along with personnel.
