Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the result of the annual secondary examination. Along with this, the board has also released the top 10 merit list, in which this time a total of 139 students have secured positions. These topper students also include 57 girls, which shows that girls are performing brilliantly this year too. Students can check the results on the official site biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
This time a total of 15,10,928 students appeared in the examination, which included 7,84,871 girls and 7,26,057 boys. According to the categories of the students who passed, 4,43,723 students passed in the first division, of which 2,34,501 were boys and 2,09,222 were girls. A total of 4,75,511 students passed in the second division, of which boys were 2,25,011 and girls were 2,50,500. 3,03,103 students passed in third class, which includes boys-1,35,676 and girls-1,67,427. this year’s toppers
The topper students in this year’s result include Pushpanjali Kumari of Simultala Residential School, Jamui and Sabreen Parveen of Higher Secondary School, Chhaurahi, Vaishali. Both of them have secured first position with 98.4% by scoring 492 marks. This time also the performance of the girls has been very strong. Names of 57 girl students are included in the top 10 merit list.
Performance of last five years
In the last few years, the result of Bihar Board 10th examination has been around 80 percent. The pass percentage in the year 2025 was 82.11%, while in 2024 it was 82.91%. In 2023 it stood at 81.04%, and in 2022 the pass percentage was recorded at 79.88%. In 2021, it had decreased slightly to 78.17%.
