Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have become parents once again. The couple welcomed their second child on March 29. Sonam and Anand are already parents of a son, Vayu, and now for the second time too they have become parents of a son. The couple has shared this good news with fans on social media.

On Sunday, Sonam and Anand Ahuja shared a note on Instagram and informed about the birth of their second child. The note read, “With hearts full of immense gratitude and love, we are very happy to announce that a son has been born to us on March 29, 2026. Our family has become bigger now, and with his arrival our hearts have also become bigger in the most beautiful way.”
The note further read, “Vayu is very happy to welcome his little brother, and we feel very blessed to have this precious new life, which has filled our home with happiness and love. Sonam and Anand are very thankful to start this beautiful new journey of our lives as a family of four.”
Fans and celebs are congratulating Sonam-Anand
As soon as the news of Sonam and Anand becoming parents of a son for the second time, all the Bollywood celebs started congratulating them. Many celebs including Parineeti Chopra to Kareena Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Huma Qureshi congratulated the couple and showered their blessings on the new born baby. Fans are also congratulating Sonam and Anand on the birth of their son.

Sonam met Anand in 2015 during the promotion of the film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. He told that although his friends were trying to introduce him to one of Anand’s friends, his conversation started mostly with Anand. After talking over messages for two weeks, both of them started liking each other. In 2018, the couple got married in an intimate function.
In 2022, Sonam and Anand welcomed their elder son, Vayu. In November 2025, this actress had announced her second pregnancy in a very stylish manner by sharing pictures of her baby bump. In February this year, Sonam and Anand hosted a star-studded ‘baby shower’ party at their home in Mumbai. Now this couple has become parents of a son for the second time.
