The car of Congress MP from Bhandara, Maharashtra, Prashant Padole met with an accident on the morning of Monday 30 March. This accident happened near Nagpur when he was going towards Nagpur airport to go to Delhi. The collision was so strong that the car was badly damaged.
MP Prashant Padole and his driver were injured in this accident. However, it is a matter of relief that there was no major damage or loss of life or property. Everyone in the car is said to be safe, but the vehicle has suffered serious damage.
There were preparations to go to Delhi, to attend the Parliament session.
MP Prashant Padole was leaving to participate in the Parliament proceedings in Delhi. He was about to reach Nagpur airport in a private car from Bhandara and catch the flight. Meanwhile, a truck hit his car on the way. Padole suffered a minor leg injury in the accident. Despite this, he gave priority to his official program and reached Nagpur airport directly after the accident. From there he flew to Delhi as per the schedule.

After the accident, MP Prashant Padole shared information about the incident on social media platform X. He expressed concern about road safety and raised questions tagging Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
He wrote, “MPs are not safe. What will happen to the public? Today I had to leave for Delhi, in the morning I had to go to Nagpur airport in a private car from Bhandara. Near Nagpur, a truck driver hit me hard. The car was damaged, but I was not hit anywhere, but the car was damaged.”
