BJP has released the fourth list of candidates for the assembly elections in West Bengal, which includes the names of 13 candidates. In the list released on Tuesday (March 31, 2026), the party has made Soma Thakur the candidate from Bagda seat reserved for Scheduled Castes, while on the other hand, Girija Shankar Roy has been declared the candidate from Natabari.
Along with this, the party has also changed one candidate declared in the second list. BJP has changed the previously declared candidate of Maynagudi. According to the new list of the party, Ashutosh Verma has been declared its candidate from Sitai seat, Girija Shankar Roy from Natabadi, Soma Thakur from Bagda and Uttam Kumar Banik from Magrahat East.
Ticket from Falta to Debangshu Panda
In this fourth list of BJP, Debangshu Panda has been given ticket from Falta, Debashish Pathak from Sonarpur North and Shyamal Hati from Howrah South. Apart from this, Ranjan Kumar Paul from Panchla seat, Piyush Kanti Das from Chandipur, Pradeep Lodha from Garbeta, Manav Guha from Memari and Arijit Roy from Barabani seat have been made BJP candidates.

PM Modi’s first rally in Bengal on April 5
