LSG vs DC IPL 2026 5th Match Highlights: In the fifth league match of IPL 2026, Delhi Capitals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 6 wickets. Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs made important contributions in helping the team win. Both of them made a partnership of 119* (76 balls) for the fifth wicket. Sameer Rizvi played the biggest innings for the team and scored 70* runs in 47 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes. During this period, Prince Yadav took maximum 2 wickets for Lucknow.
In the match, Delhi won the toss and decided to bowl. Lucknow team, which came to bat first, was all out for 141 runs in 18.4 overs. Abdul Samad played the biggest innings for the team and scored 36 runs in 25 balls. During this period, Lungi Andigi and T Natarajan took maximum 3-3 wickets in their account for Delhi. In the run chase, Delhi won in 17.1 overs. Delhi got this victory when they had lost 4 wickets at the score of 26 runs.
Delhi stuck in the beginning of run chase
While chasing the runs, Delhi team seemed stuck in the beginning. In the powerplay, the team had lost 4 wickets after scoring only 33 runs. Prince Yadav took the maximum number of wickets in his account for Lucknow. During this he spent 20 runs in 3 overs. Apart from this, Mohammed Shami and Mohsin Khan took 1 wicket each. Shami spent 28 runs in 4 overs and Mohsin spent 19 runs in 4 overs.
