Rajasthan Royals have defeated Gujarat Titans by 6 runs. As long as Sai Sudarshan was at the crease, Gujarat’s victory seemed easy. Sudarshan was out after scoring 73 runs and as soon as his wicket fell, GT’s batting line-up collapsed. In this match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Rajasthan team batted first and scored 210 runs, in response to which Gujarat team scored 204 runs, but Tushar Deshpande ensured Rajasthan’s victory by giving only 4 runs in the last over.
Rajasthan Royals team came to bat first after winning the toss. There was an opening partnership of 70 runs between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Jaiswal scored 55 runs, Suryavanshi scored 31 runs, but the biggest score for the RR team was made by Dhruv Jurel, who scored 75 runs. In this way Rajasthan team managed to score 210 runs on the scoreboard.

Chasing the target of 211 runs, Gujarat Titans had scored 196 runs till the 18th over. Only 15 runs were to be scored in 12 balls, Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada were set at the crease. Meanwhile, Joffra Archer came to bowl in the 19th over. He gave only 4 runs in this over, due to which Rajasthan had made a comeback in the match.
Now Tushar Deshpande had to save 11 runs in the last over. The first ball was wide and one run each on the next 3 balls. The fourth ball was a dot. The situation was such that Gujarat had to score 7 runs in 2 balls, then Deshpande dismissed Rashid Khan by hitting all four. Even now the match could have gone into a super over, but Deshpande did not allow Ashok Sharma to score any runs on the last ball.
