A good news regarding education has come from different parts of the country. With the beginning of the new session, four new Kendriya Vidyalayas are now going to ease the path of education for children. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has confirmed that four new Kendriya Vidyalayas approved in Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will start functioning from this session.
This approval has been received after the orders of the Central Government, which were issued in December 2024 and October 2025. The condition was that the concerned departments would provide land for the school and make arrangements for a temporary building till then. Now this process has been completed, hence the operation of schools is being started without any delay.
First of all let’s talk about Uttarakhand. The Kendriya Vidyalaya opening in Madan Negi area of Tehri Garhwal district has brought great relief to the children of Madan Negi hilly area. Now children from far-flung villages will also be able to take advantage of Kendriya Vidyalaya education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Gul is also going to be opened in Gul area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. This area was feeling the need of a good school for a long time. There is an atmosphere of happiness among the parents here due to this news.
One more KVS each in UP-Bihar
Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3 Darbhanga (AIIMS), which is opening near AIIMS in Darbhanga, Bihar, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Shamli, which is being opened in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, are also included in this list. In both these schools, studies will start from Kindergarten 1 to 3 and classes 1 to 5.

Whereas in schools of Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, classes 1 to 5 will start directly. All schools will run in temporary buildings for now. At some places a government school building will be used, while at some places classes will be held in an already existing building. After the construction of the permanent building, the school will shift to its new campus. As per KVS rules, the admission process will be completed within 30 days after completion of land and temporary building formalities.

Kendriya Vidyalayas are known for their good education, discipline and low fees. This is the reason why every year a large number of applications come for admission here. Now the opening of these four new schools will provide relief to thousands of families, who will no longer have to go far for their children’s education.
