There is great news for the youth who are dreaming of becoming government teachers. In Gujarat, the Education Department has opened the way for large recruitment of teachers for primary schools. Recruitment has been announced for a total of 11 thousand posts, due to which thousands of candidates will get a chance to get a government job. Out of total 11 thousand posts, 5 thousand posts were pending from the year 2025, while 6 thousand posts have been newly added for the year 2026. Who can apply?
Only those candidates who have passed TET-1 examination can apply for this recruitment. TET-1 is a mandatory condition to become a teacher at primary level. Along with this, those candidates who are studying in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) will also be eligible to apply. This is a good opportunity for those students who were preparing for jobs even before completing their studies.
Interested candidates will be able to apply from April 15, while the last date for application has been fixed as April 24. After submitting the online application, candidates will have to submit their necessary documents at the designated centres.
