Baramati By-Election: NCP leader Parth Pawar took oath as a Rajya Sabha member on Thursday and described the occasion as an emotional and proud moment of his life. He dedicated this achievement to his father Ajit Pawar.

Pawar said in a post on ‘X’ that his father’s guidance, values and dedication to public service inspire him every day. He recalled that his father had started his parliamentary career in 1991 and regretted that he was not present to witness this moment.

Pawar said that he is confident that his father’s blessings are with him and he will carry forward his legacy with full devotion. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Baramati for their support and trust and said that this has further strengthened their commitment to serve.
Pawar also thanked his mother Sunetra Pawar, who was present on the occasion and always remained his support. He also thanked NCP MLAs and senior leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare for their trust and encouragement.
Pawar said that the presence of Rajya Sabha leader JP Nadda at the swearing-in ceremony was a matter of honor for him. He also thanked the leadership of the Mahayuti government, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, for their support.
Pawar said that this responsibility is not just an opportunity, but a serious resolution to serve Maharashtra and empowerment of youth, farmers, women and raising the voice of the deprived will be his priority. He said that entering Parliament under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the good fortune of his life and also thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for his guidance.
