Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma are jointly the batsmen to score the fastest half-century in IPL 2026. Both of them have scored fifty in 15 balls each. Vaibhav has done this twice. He scored a half-century in 15 balls against Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati on 30 March and against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 10 April. Abhishek Sharma scored fifty in 15 balls against Chennai Super Kings on 18 April.

The third batsman in the list is Priyansh Arya. This Punjab Kings batsman had scored a half-century in 16 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 11 April. This match was played in New Chandigarh. The record of scoring the fastest half-century in IPL is in the name of Yashasvi Jaiswal, he scored fifty in 13 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders on 11 May 2023. This record of his can be broken by Vaibhav Suryavanshi or Abhishek Sharma, who are known for hitting big with the first ball.
