Dr H.V. Hande, a two-time Health Minister of Tamil Nadu, on Thursday shared a picture showing the mark on his finger after exercising his franchise in the state assembly elections. He said in his post, ‘At the age of 99, I have seen my country finding its voice and today I have also used my voice.’
He said, ‘I voted for the first time in 1946 as a medical student. Voting is not just a right, it is our responsibility towards the future we leave behind. Hande appealed to the people of the state and said that your one vote matters. Get out of your homes. Stand up and register your presence to vote.
