Chennai Super Kings registered a historic win against Mumbai Indians on Thursday. This became CSK’s biggest win in IPL history, before this Chennai had never won by a margin of more than 100 runs. The mother of Chennai fast bowler Mukesh Chaudhary, who played in this match, had died two days ago on 21 April. His mother was ill, due to which he left for his home in Bhilwara (Rajasthan) after the match held on 18 April.
Mukesh Chaudhary’s mother died on 21 April. After the funeral, he left for Mumbai, where Chennai Super Kings faced Mumbai Indians. Mukesh came out to play, it was an emotional moment because it is not easy for anyone. He bowled his 4 overs, taking 1 wicket for 31 runs. Chennai captain Ruturaj Gaikwad saluted his spirit.
Rituraj Gaikwad said, “It was very difficult for him. Hats off to him, it takes a lot of mental courage to play in such conditions. He came back for CSK because he knew we needed him. All praise goes to him. We all wanted to stand with him and we did our bit for him.”

Expressing happiness over the victory, Ruturaj Gaikwad said, “I was confused at the time of the toss, I was feeling that I should bat first because it was a green pitch, but it was also dry. We had to guess the pitch in the beginning, I told Sanju Samson that the ball was not coming from the bat properly so a total of 200 would be better. Then the bowlers also performed brilliantly. Sanju is in great form.” Let us tell you that the toss was won by Hardik Pandya, he chose to bowl first.

However, Gaikwad does not want us to just celebrate this victory. He said, “We will have to start from zero again, start the work of predicting the pitch again.
