In the second over, Kyle Jamieson bowled Yashasvi Jaiswal. On the previous ball, Vaibhav had hit a four on the front side.
BCCI punished Jamieson
After dismissing Vaibhav, Kyle Jamieson celebrated it in an aggressive manner. 15 year old Vaibhav has defeated big bowlers, he scores runs at a fast pace. He has scored two centuries in IPL, one in 35 and the other in 36 balls. After taking the wicket, Jamieson shouted very loudly, went towards the batsman and started clapping. BCCI found that such celebration is a violation of the rules.

“Kyle Jamieson has received one demerit point and been warned for breaching Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct for players and team officials,” the statement said. Jamieson was found to have breached Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which relates to “using language, actions or gestures that are demeaning or likely to provoke an aggressive reaction from another player in a match.”

It was told in the statement that the bowler has accepted his mistake. “After dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Jamieson was found to be standing too close to him in an aggressive manner, which could have provoked an aggressive reaction from the batsman. Jamieson admitted his offense and accepted the punishment given by match referee Rajeev Seth.”
