‘Even 10 births will fall short…’, Abhishek Banerjee angry over re-voting at all polling stations in Falta

Now a new political conflict is being seen in West Bengal. The Election Commission has ordered re-polling in all 285 polling stations of 144-Falta assembly constituency. Fresh votes will also be cast at all auxiliary polling stations. The Election Commission has directed that re-polling should be held on 21 May 2026 from 7 am to 6 pm and counting of votes will take place on 24 May. The election results of 293 seats of West Bengal will be declared on May 4, while Falta will be kept out of this announcement.

Why did the Election Commission take this decision?

The Election Commission has taken this decision regarding the electoral clash that took place during voting on April 29 and the issue of pasting stickers on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). This development has started a heated political debate between Trinamool Congress (TMC) and BJP leaders. BJP leader Amit Malviya fiercely targeted the Mamata government of Bengal. He said that the Diamond Harbor model has collapsed.

What did the angry Abhishek Banerjee say?

Regarding Amit Malviya’s statement, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee defended the party’s record and gave a direct challenge to BJP. In a post on social media, Banerjee said that no one would be able to harm her Diamond Harbor model, especially the anti-Bengali Gujarati gang. He further said that to do this, even 10 births would be reduced.

Case going on against Rahul Gandhi, hearing on May 11 in Sultanpur court, know what is the matter

Abhishek Banerjee challenged the BJP leaders to contest elections from Falta and said that if they have courage then they should risk everything and field their strongest candidate.

Let us tell you that Falta Assembly falls in the Diamond Harbor area, which is very important politically for TMC. Therefore, the re-polling order has further increased the heated rhetoric between political parties. In such a situation, now all eyes are on Falta to see whom the voters make victorious in the re-polling.
