Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has made a big claim on the news of terminating the services of I-PAC company for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. SP Chief said that yes he worked with us for some time but we do not have funds.
Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav termed as baseless the reports which claimed that after the defeat of the ruling parties in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, I-PAC stopped working. During the press conference at SP headquarters in Lucknow, the capital of UP, he said that no, there is nothing like that.
Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav accused BJP of achieving victory through election management and said that this issue has been discussed many times and the call of “do or die” in 2024 was also made in this context. He thanked the workers who stood firm till the results were declared and claimed that it was because of their struggle that the BJP stayed away from an absolute majority.
Before meeting Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav raised the temperature of UP politics, said- We will… in 2022 only.

Akhilesh alleged that in the by-elections, the ruling party used every possible means, deployed officials and even in some cases misused agencies and police to remove opposition workers from polling booths.
Referring to examples like Ayodhya and Milkipur, he said that elections were influenced by creating administrative pressure. Citing the experience of West Bengal, he said that a similar situation was seen in UP in 2022, where SP workers were lathicharged and thrown out of the polling stations.

Akhilesh Yadav termed BJP, its allies, investigation agencies, some media organizations and capitalists as “multi-layer election mafia” and said that this entire system together is influencing the democratic process.
