There is great news for the youth preparing for government jobs. Forest Research Institute Dehradun has issued recruitment notification for many Group C posts. Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made on a total of 91 posts. This includes many posts like Forest Guard, Lower Division Clerk, Technician, Stenographer, Store Keeper and Multi Tasking Staff.
What qualification is required?
10th pass, 12th pass and graduate candidates can apply for these posts. For some posts, ITI or degree in related subject has been sought. Physical standards have also been fixed for the post of Forest Guard. The height of male candidates should be 165 cm and the height of female candidates should be 150 cm. Along with this, walking test will also have to be given.
age limit
In this recruitment, the age limit has been kept different according to the post. The minimum age has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age has been fixed at around 27 to 30 years. Also, according to the government rules, age relaxation will be given to the reserved categories.
How will the selection process happen?
Candidates will be selected in several stages. First of all, computer based examination will be conducted. After this, a descriptive examination will be taken, in which essay and application form will have to be written in Hindi and English. Skill test, typing test, trade test and physical test will also be conducted for some posts. Final selection will be after document verification and medical examination.

exam pattern
In the computer based examination, questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, English Language and related subjects. The pattern of examination has been kept different for different posts. The exam will be of total 100 marks.
how much is the application fee
General, OBC and economically weaker section candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1500. Whereas for women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and physically handicapped candidates the fee has been kept at Rs 700.
