Who will become the Chief Minister of West Bengal? The whole picture became clear from these two signals of Amit Shah

Bharatiya Janata Party’s legislative party meeting is to be held in West Bengal today. On behalf of BJP, Home Minister Amit Shah has been made the observer of Bengal. Biplav Kumar Dev is the co-supervisor. Amit Shah, who reached Kolkata, has given two such signals, which have made the picture of Bengal clear to a great extent.

Actually, BJP’s firebrand leader Shubhendu Adhikari had reached Kolkata airport to welcome Amit Shah, many big leaders including BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya, Dilip Ghosh were present there, but Amit Shah congratulated Shubhendu Adhikari by patting his back. He did this only with Shubhendu, whereas many other leaders were also present there. This is being considered as Amit Shah’s green signal for Shubhendu to move forward in the CM race.

Apart from this, when Amit Shah left from Kolkata Airport, he left in the same car with Shubhendu Adhikari. There is speculation that the top leadership of BJP has finalized the name of Shubhendu Adhikari for the post of CM. There will be a meeting of the Legislature Party at around 4 pm today, in which the picture regarding the Chief Minister will become completely clear as to whom the BJP considers as its strong contender for development in Bengal.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Kolkata

Before the formation of the new government in West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Kolkata on Friday. Information has come to light that he will hold a meeting with the newly elected MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party, in which the name of the Chief Minister will be decided. This is an important step towards forming the government in the state. The leader of the House will be chosen in the BJP Legislature Party meeting. The name of the next Chief Minister will be decided only through this process. The party is going to form its government in the state for the first time, hence senior central leaders of the party are overseeing this election process.

Notification issued for dissolution of assembly

The formal tenure of the last West Bengal Assembly ended on Thursday itself. After this, the Governor issued a notification to dissolve the 17th West Bengal Assembly. However, despite the dissolution of the Assembly, outgoing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has kept her designation as ‘Chief Minister of West Bengal’ on the social media platform. She is still describing herself as the current Chief Minister on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and ‘X’. Mamata Banerjee and her party have faced a crushing defeat in the recently concluded assembly elections. Mamta Banerjee herself has lost the election from her Bhawanipur assembly seat. However, he had clearly refused to resign from the post of Chief Minister after the election results.
