Children get sleep break in Japanese schools
In Japan, sleep is considered important for both body and mind. This is the reason why in many schools, colleges and offices there is a provision for taking rest or power nap for some time. According to the report, children in schools are given time to rest for 20 to 40 minutes after lunch. It is believed that due to this, children are able to concentrate better on studies again and studies do not seem a burden to them. At some places, if a child falls asleep in class, he is not woken up immediately. There it is considered a sign that the child is working hard and needs rest.

Apart from Japan, in many schools of China also children are given the facility to rest for some time after lunch. According to many videos and reports that have gone viral on social media, desks are used as beds for children inside the classroom. Children have been given the facility to take power naps by providing pillows and sheets. Besides this, children in China have to warm up not once but twice a day. Here in schools, children are given 1 hour time to eat and after eating, children can also sleep for some time.

In Japan children are made independent
Japan’s education system is counted among the most disciplined and advanced systems in the world. Here children are taught to be self-reliant from an early age.
