JNU MBA Admission 2026: Last date of application for JNU MBA admission is near, you can register till 15th May

Jawaharlal Nehru University, one of the prestigious universities of the country, has started the admission process for its MBA program (Batch 2026-28). Interested candidates now have limited time left to apply, because the last date for registration has been fixed as 15 May 2026. In such a situation, this is an important opportunity for students dreaming of studying management.

This MBA program, run by JNU’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship, was started in 2019. In a short time this institute has created a strong identity for itself. Students who have studied from here are today working in big companies like NABARD, Axis Bank, ITC Limited, KPMG and Ernst & Young, while many have also started their own startups.

Emphasis on promoting entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem

Management education in JNU has not been limited to books only. Special initiatives have been taken here to promote entrepreneurship and startup culture. With the support of Atal Incubation Centre, students get the opportunity to develop business ideas and get them off the ground. The curriculum is updated from time to time, with guidance from experts from IIMs and IITs.

According to the National Education Policy 2020, the method of study here has been kept quite practical. Along with classroom learning, students are exposed to the real business world through case studies, industry visits, workshops and simulations. This kind of experiential learning teaches students not just theory but also real management skills.

Easy online application process

Candidates wishing to take admission in MBA can apply online through the official website of JNU. First of all you have to register, after which you have to log in and fill the application form. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 2000 for General, EWS and OBC categories, while it is Rs 1000 for SC, ST and Disabled candidates.

Keep the necessary documents ready for application

While filling the form, candidates will have to upload some important documents. These include passport size photograph, signature, 10th and 12th marksheet, graduation marksheet and CAT 2025 or GMAT score for foreign candidates.

Selection will be decided by CAT score, interview is also important

The admission process is completely based on merit. In this, maximum weightage of 70 percent will be given to CAT score. Apart from this, 10 percent weightage has been given to group discussion and 20 percent weightage to personal interview. In such a situation, candidates will have to prepare well for every stage.
