Will Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav Play Against RCB: On Sunday (May 10), the second match of the double header will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in Raipur. Before this match, a big update has come regarding the return of Mumbai’s regular captain Hardik Pandya and in his place Suryakumar Yadav, who commanded the team in the last match.
Mumbai played its last match against Lucknow Super Giants. Hardik Pandya was not a part of the playing 11 in the match. Surya was seen captaining the team in place of Hardik. Suryakumar, while giving an update at the time of the toss, had said that Hardik was not playing the match due to his unwell condition.

Before the match against RCB, there was a lot of discussion that Surya would not play the next match for Mumbai due to becoming a father. Talking about the return of Hardik and Surya, a Mumbai Indians spokesperson in the press conference before the match said, “Hardik’s investigation is ongoing and he will keep giving us updates on his progress. Surya is coming tomorrow.”
This somehow makes it clear that it is almost certain that Surya will play against RCB tomorrow. However, it seems difficult for Hardik to play. If Hardik does not play, then Suryakumar will be seen taking command of the team. Now it will be interesting to see how Mumbai’s playing 11 is against Bengaluru.
