Gill-Sudarshan have become the ‘number-1’ pair from Gujarat Titans in terms of highest century partnership for the opening wicket in IPL. This pair has jointly reached the top in terms of maximum number of century partnerships as an opening pair by any team. Before this, the pair of David Warner-Shikhar Dhawan and Abhishek Sharma-Travis Head had made century partnerships 6-6 times as openers for Sunrisers Hyderabad. In this list, David Warner-Jonny Bairstow (Sunrisers Hyderabad) and Faf du Plessis-Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore) are jointly at second place with 5-5 partnerships.
