Kolkata Knight Riders assistant coach Shane Watson is confident that his team will qualify for the playoffs. Currently KKR is at number 8 in the points table. He has total 9 marks. Meanwhile, Shane Watson said that after a slow start, KKR is now performing well as a team and they have every hope of reaching the IPL playoffs.

Regarding the initial defeat, he said that it took time for the team to adjust to the changes after the auction. Watson said, “It was going to take some time for everyone to adjust to the team. Now everything is fine and our batting order seems stable. We are finding out what is right for the team.” Watson said that due to the injury he suffered in his left leg in the last match, it is doubtful for spinner Varun Chakraborty to play in the next match.
