Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday gave a reflective but combative literary response to her party’s recent election defeat by sharing a poem titled “Bahadur”, calling on workers to maintain courage, dignity and inner strength in the face of adversity.
Mamta started the poem with the line “Don’t lose courage, stay strong”. He wrote, “If you are always full of confidence, no one can touch you”. Giving the message of “face cruel people with a smile”, the former Chief Minister said, “Your smile is your mental strength”.
Themes like perseverance, loneliness and moral faith are repeatedly mentioned in the poem. Mamta wrote, “When you were born, you came alone and when you die, you will also have to go alone. Your good deeds will always be remembered.”
