Along with Devdutt Padikkal, he made an important partnership of 92 runs in 59 balls for the second wicket. This is Kohli’s 9th century in IPL. Virat scored his second century in IPL against KKR. Kohli has equaled Jos Buttler in terms of scoring most centuries against one team in this league. Butler has scored two centuries each against KKR and RCB.

Virat Kohli has become the batsman with joint highest number of centuries while chasing runs in IPL. Virat scored this third century while chasing. Apart from Kohli, only Jos Buttler could do this feat. Virat has jointly reached third place in the list of batsmen who have scored most centuries in T20 cricket. This was Kohli’s 10th century in T20 cricket. Virat is the batsman who has scored most centuries in IPL.
Virat Kohli also completed 14 thousand T20 runs in this innings. Kohli became the batsman to complete 14 thousand runs in the fewest innings. He achieved this milestone in the 409th innings. Virat left Chris Gayle behind in this matter. Gayle achieved this feat in his 423rd innings. Kohli was chosen ‘Player of the Match’ for his brilliant innings. Virat has jointly come first in the list of Indian players who have won ‘Player of the Match’ most number of times in IPL. Kohli won the ‘Player of the Match’ award for the 21st time. Along with Virat, Rohit Sharma has also won ‘Player of the Match’ 21 times.
