In the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised ministers and public representatives to adopt simplicity and use resources properly. According to sources, PM Modi said that public representatives should set a good example to the people through their behavior and work.
The Prime Minister said that the available resources of the country should be used in the best possible way. Keeping this in mind, he stressed on keeping the number of vehicles in government convoys low. PM Modi also said that when electric vehicles are being promoted in the country, then ministers and officials should avoid buying new vehicles unnecessarily.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also gave some inspirational examples in the meeting. He mentioned a judge of Jabalpur High Court who goes to court on a bicycle. Along with this, he also gave the example of Gujarat Governor traveling by bus recently. PM Modi said that such steps of people holding constitutional posts give a good message to the society and also inspire the common people. He also said that public representatives have more responsibilities than the common people, hence they should work with simplicity and responsibility.
Prime Minister Modi’s appeal for work from home
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a statement regarding work from home. He has said that digital technology has made people’s lives much easier. With the help of technology, many tasks can now be done easily sitting at home and the country will also benefit from it. PM Modi stressed that virtual meetings and ‘work from home’ should be given more priority in both government and private offices. He believes that this will save time and resources. He has also appealed to the people regarding the purchase of gold. PM Modi said that a lot of India’s money goes abroad in the import of gold. Therefore, he requested the countrymen to postpone the purchase of gold until the situation becomes normal.
