A big update has come for cricket fans. Fans will be able to buy tickets for the playoff matches of IPL 2026 from May 20. The ticket sales for the title match will start from May 23. ‘District by Zomato’ has been appointed as the official ticketing agency for the knockout stage of IPL 2026. BCCI announced this on Monday.
So far in IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is the only team to reach the playoffs. For the remaining three places, there is a race between Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. In this, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans have the highest chances.
Tickets for IPL final and playoff matches can be purchased through the official website of IPL and ‘District by Zomato’ platform. BCCI said that this phased schedule of ticket sales has been made so that fans can easily get tickets and ‘Rupay’ card holders can get the special right of early booking. ‘Rupay’ credit card holders will get the benefit of a special 24-hour priority window starting from May 20. Through this they will be able to buy tickets for Qualifier-1 and Eliminator.
The Qualifier-1 match will be played on 26th May at HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala, after which the Eliminator match will be played on 27th May at New PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh. The priority window for Qualifier-2 and the final will open on May 22. Qualifier-2 will be played in New Chandigarh on 29th May, while the title match will be played on 31st May at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
After the priority period ends, general ticket sales of the first phase will start from the next day. Tickets for Qualifier-1 and Eliminator will be available to the general public from May 21, while tickets for Qualifier-2 and the final matches will go on sale from May 23.
