PM Modi Norway Visit: The country’s politics has heated up after a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Norway surfaced. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi has raised questions on the Prime Minister by sharing a video on social media. In the video, a Norwegian journalist is seen asking questions to the Prime Minister, while PM Modi moves ahead from there. Congress and the opposition have targeted the government regarding this incident.

What did Rahul Gandhi say?

While sharing this video on social media platform X, Rahul Gandhi made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wrote that when you have nothing to hide, there is no reason to be afraid. Raising the question, Rahul Gandhi said that when the world sees that the Prime Minister of India gets scared of some questions and leaves from there, then what effect does this have on the image of the country.

What did the journalist ask in the video?

In the video, Norwegian journalist Helle Ling is heard asking questions to Prime Minister Modi. He asked, “Prime Minister Modi, why don’t you answer the questions of the world’s freest press?” Later the journalist also shared this video on X. He wrote that he did not expect that the Prime Minister would answer his question. The journalist said that Norway ranks first in the world in terms of press freedom, while India ranks 157th. He said that it is the job of journalists to ask questions to those in power.

How did the embassy respond?

The Indian Embassy also responded to this entire matter. Responding to the journalist’s post, the embassy said that a press briefing regarding the Prime Minister’s visit is being organized at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza at 9:30 pm. The embassy invited the journalist to come there and ask his questions.
