Karnataka Congress Crisis: Meeting of Kharge, Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar, is everything not well in Karnataka?

All India Congress Committee (AICC) chief Mallikarjun Kharge held discussions with state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar amid fresh speculation over the leadership issue in Karnataka. Party sources gave this information on Tuesday.

According to sources, Kharge, Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar and senior leaders traveled together from Thiruvananthapuram to Bengaluru on Monday, after which the discussions were held at the residence of state Energy Minister KJ George.

News of power struggle between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar has been coming to the fore again and again. After the completion of five years of the Congress government in November last year, the issue of power-sharing has become even more heated.

Congress sources claim that the Congress leadership may soon call both Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to Delhi. Both the leaders will sit with the party leadership and discuss the change of leadership and other issues in Karnataka. This meeting may take place next week.
